Clara Cayosa
is a graphic and type designer from the Philippines. She joins the Rhode Island School of Design MFA Graphic Design cohort this Fall 2024.
While running her independent practice she handles Tipong Pilipino, an incubator developing new talent for Filipino type.
Clara has taught a course on Advanced Type Design in Ateneo Fine Arts and worked as a graphic designer and strategist in And A Half. She was a scholar for type design through Malee Scholarship (2020) and TypeWest (2023) with Letterform Archive in San Francisco.
