BALAY KŌBŌ is a home + creative studio that allows creatives to have photoshoots and intimate events in sun-filled spaces. 

The structure was specifically designed with Filipino and Japanese in mind. I provided clarity on both identity and strategy, ensuring that every aspect of the brand infuses both Filipino and Japanese sensibilities of lightness and beauty.

 Initial Drafts starting point of the custom wordmark was a cross-section of a bamboo
Central to the identity is the gumamela icon, whose form is patterned after the wordmark, but with a gentler touch
