Clara Cayosa
is a graphic and type designer from the Philippines. While running her independent practice she handles Tipong Pilipino, an incubator developing new talent for Filipino type. She joins the Rhode Island School of Design MFA Graphic Design cohort this Fall 2025.
In 2024 Clara has taught an elective in Ateneo Fine Arts on Advanced Type Design. Her first job as a graphic designer and strategist was with And A Half Design Studio. In 2020 she became first recipient of the Malee Scholarship and a full scholar at TypeWest 2023, a year-long program dedicated to type with Letterform Archive in San Francisco.
